Renate Keerd's production "Persimmon of Burnt Fields" is, by genre definition, a physical-psychedelic contemplative tragedy in a comic-poetic key. Or vice versa. Depends on the viewpoint.

Renate Keerd is a freelance director and choreographer, whose productions have been performed at many theatre and dance festivals in Europe, Scandinavia, and Asia. Renate Keerd has twice earned the Estonian independent dance award "Philip Morris Estonia" as the Breakthrough Artist of the Year and the Person of the Year. Her production "Pure Mind" earned the festival Grand Prix at the 2015 international theatre festival in Minsk. The production "Persimmon of Burnt Fields" earned her the title of Tartu Cultural Ambassador. She is also the dance award laureate of the Estonian Theatre Awards 2016. In 2012, she established her own physical theatre troupe Company Nii.
